1) What’s your favorite thing about working in community development?

Building local community helps to grow trust and cooperation within our neighborhoods. Even as our world grows smaller and the culture changes, there is still room for meaningful personal connections at a community level. I get excited about the opportunity to offer ideas, programs, and projects that will bring people together!

2) Who’s been an inspiration to you in your life?

I appreciate and relate to George Carlin’s world view and humor. My ball python is named Carlin.

3) What would you like people to know about you?

I am an accidental jack of all trades thanks to my curiosity and fear of boredom. I try to be an artist, an athlete and a nerd all at once.

4) What’s your favorite color?

Aqua? I love the ocean.

5) If you had $10 extra dollars what would you buy?

Something in the under $10 section of the old Sears Christmas Wish Book.

6) What is the best compliment you ever got?

An old girlfriend’s grandmother once called me a “slice of hot chocolate cake”.
