  • All camp staff have up-to-date First Aid and CPR certification.

  • All camp staff have a criminal record check and have passed the vulnerability and working with children sector.

  • All staff go through our “Summer Camp Leader” training before camp starts.

How to get your campers ready for camp:

  • Get Summer Camp Ready! Please make sure you pack a water bottle, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, light-colored clothing for hot weather, label your child’s belongings. Pack your child’s rain gear, jackets and sweaters as required. Please check the weather report daily (if you child loses something, we want it getting back to them)

  • Triwood Community Association is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

  • Pack healthy snacks and lunch for your child. Campers will have 15 minutes in the morning and afternoon for a snack, which they bring from home. Campers get 30 minutes to eat their packed lunch. We do not provide snacks or lunch for campers.

  • Please help us reduce the amount of garbage by using reusable food containers, reducing packaging and encouraging your child to recycle and compost the remains.

  • Please do not send peanuts or nut products with your child.

  • We promote a policy of no food sharing, as some of our campers have severe allergies to foods like nuts, gluten, soy or milk products and we want to help reduce the risk of exposure to these items.

  • We take allergies seriously but cannot guarantee that the program is completely free of food or environmental allergens. We will try our very best to work with your child’s allergies but please pack the appropriate medication for their allergy and fill out our medication form.

Cancelation/Refund Policy:

  • You will receive a refund of 75% of the program fee if you cancel before June 8th, 2020

  • We reserve the right to remove your child from the Triwood Summer Camp without refund if they have “an accident”. All Children must be self-sufficient in the washroom.

  • Refunds will not be given if a child is sent home for negative or dangerous behavior.

  • If a child is asked to leave camp, it will only be after we have contacted the child’s parents to discuss the situation. Reasons for dismissal include bullying or putting another person at risk.

  • We are not able to pro-rate or refund the cost of any camps should your child need to miss any day(s) or portions.

The boys had a complete blast during their 2 weeks of camp and can't wait to come back next year. They just said this morning that they wished they could go to camp today. The camp leaders were fantastic and really made a positive impact on the kids day. Thanks again😊
