Triwood Community Association Intro Club.jpg
Exciting New 4-H Intro Club Coming to Triwood for Kids Ages 9–15

We’re thrilled to announce that 4-H Alberta is bringing an Explore 4-H Intro Club to the Triwood Community Association this January! This six-week program is designed for youth ages 9–15 who are curious, creative, and eager to try new things without the commitment of a full-year club.

Running Wednesday evenings from 6:00–8:00 PM, starting January 21st, the club offers a mix of hands-on workshops that spark curiosity and build practical skills. Participants will explore everything from pottery and chocolate-making to microgreens farming, snack-smart activities, and a money moves vision board party. Each session is designed to engage youth in learning by doing, encouraging creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication in a fun, supportive environment.

Beyond the activities, participants will also get a taste of 4-H life by learning to run a meeting, practice communication skills, and keep simple records. Families are welcome to join for one session or the final celebration, making this a program that fosters connections for both youth and parents.

Spots are limited to 15 participants, and registration is $120, covering all programming, supplies, weekly snacks, and a 4-H bag. Each registration also includes a Triwood Community Association Activity Membership. Invitations to free bonus opportunities throughout the year, like tours, workshops, and hands-on experiences, are included as part of the Intro Club registration.

Don’t miss this chance to try something new, make friends, and discover the world of 4-H right here in Triwood.

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6.
