Meet online for a motivating & challenging barre class with Armela. Armela is passionate about fitness and teaching at all levels. She uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates to provide a well-rounded class that will keep you on your toes moving from exercise to exercise focusing on different muscle groups. Students will use a chair to assist with balance while being able to focus on isometric exercises, learning to hold their bodies in positions while contracting a specific set of muscles during high reps of small range motion exercises. Barre will make you sweat, burn calories, increase flexibility, and develop coordination.

Bootcamp provides a full body workout, by using body-weight exercise, interval training and strength training to transform your fitness abilities. Bootcamps burn a high amount of calories in a short period of time. You will leave the program feeling stronger and closer to your goals!

Her Monday, 645pm Hatha yoga pairs breathing exercises and postures, enabling participants to deepen their practice and prepare their bodies for everyday movement. Yoga is an excellent mind, body, spirit exercise that not only increases flexibility and is designed to calm your mind, increase your confidence, and learn to feel comfortable in your body while pushing yourself to new limits

Triwood Fitness Classes are being offered live online for February and March 2021. Join Silvia's Restorative Yoga class from the comfort of your home. This class is specifically designed for when you feel fatigued, weak or stressed from daily life. It consists of gentle floor based sequences, using props that completely support your body to fully relax the muscles, slow down the mental activity of the brain, shift emotional patterns, bring ease to the breath, and tune into the nervous system’s healing capacity. Restorative yoga enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time, typically 5 to 10 minutes. Additionally, each of the restorative yoga poses moves the spine in different directions, putting into practice the ancient yoga idea that a healthy spine promotes well-being.

Every squat, every lunge, every burpee is driven by the music, helping you make it to that last rep, and maybe even five more.

In each class you'll burn calories while toning arms, legs, abs and glutes. Plyometric or explosive moves like high knees, burpees, and jumping jacks are interchanged with isometric moves like lunges, squats, and kickboxing. STRONG Nation™ instructors change up the music and moves frequently to make sure you’re always challenged to the max.

The Pilates method of movement is a system of exercises that improve physical strength, flexibility, and enhance mental awareness. Throughout the 1 hour class, Cristina prioritizes teaching participants proper form engaging the right muscles during each movement. Pilates improves posture, balance and coordination by practicing small, controlled movements. is Props such as resistance bands and loops, weights and small stability balls are often used in class. This a beginners class where we will learn basic principles that apply to movement and Cristina will layer the exercises to increase or decrease the challenge.

Intermediate Pilates

Yoga for a Better Back

Hit the mat at home, joining Silvia to practice Critical Alignment Yoga Therapy, developed in the Netherlands by Gert van Leeuwen. Wednesdays, from 530 - 630pm Silvia's class will be offered online through zoom. . This practice integrates yoga exercises, the use of specific props, and breath awareness to release the tension and soften the tissue around the spine, to free the bone structure into a better posture. This is a highly effective way of working with injury, pain, or reduced mobility. This class will help you restore postural alignment and correct muscle imbalances, increase mobility in the hips and shoulders, reduce pain and tension and mobilize and strengthen the spinal column.

In this class Cristina will explore many different practices that will allow you to connect with the body, the breath, steady your attention and nourish your own capacity for compassion.
