President's Appeal: A Holiday Message

Hello Triwood Community Member!

I hope this message finds you well and looking forward to the festive season! I’m writing to invite you to join me in supporting Triwood Community Association and the programs and spaces that make our community such a great place to live.

I’ve called Triwood home for more than 25 years. Over that time, I’ve seen TCA grow and change - kids learning to skate, neighbours enjoying the Stampede Breakfast, new families getting involved, and seniors staying active. This year we introduced pickleball and added summer festivals like Pet Fest and the Block Party that brought people together in new ways.

I’ve heard from so many of you how much Triwood means to you and your families.

Whether it’s volunteering, showing up for events, or quietly pitching in when something needs doing, this place runs on community spirit.

As I look ahead into 2026, I’m excited about what’s next for Triwood: new ideas, community events, and spaces that continue bringing people together. We’re moving in a positive direction every day, and that’s thanks to the participation of our wonderful community.

It may surprise you to know that Triwood doesn’t receive operational funding from the city. Everything we enjoy here, from programs to special events, happens because of community generosity.

It’s my Christmas wish that you’ll join me in making a gift to support Triwood Community Association this holiday season. Every gift, no matter the size, directly helps the programs and events that makes Triwood a place we’re proud to call home.
