Art at Triwood: Featuring Makenzie Grieve

Local artist Makenzie Grieve recently reached out to us, and we were glad to provide space for her to showcase her work. To mark the opening, we hosted a Meet the Artist Night at Triwood.

The evening drew 65+ attendees, who enjoyed refreshments and pizza while taking in the show. The response was strong: 75% of the displayed pieces sold that night.

Makenzie has since refreshed the upstairs walls with new art, so if you’re in the building, take a moment to admire it until early October!

Hosting events like this is part of what we aim to do at Triwood - support local talent and bring people together. Thank you for being a part of it! Interested in showcasing your art on our walls? We'd love to hear from you! Reach out to us at marketing@triwoodcommunity.com.

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. As residents of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, we seek to live, work and play in ways that honour and respect the spirit of the treaties and the lives of our Indigenous neighbours.
