Triwood's 65th Anniversary!
What a day to celebrate 65 years of Triwood!
We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful September day to mark this milestone. With fantastic sunshine and classic autumn weather.
The afternoon was packed with folks enjoying the pony rides, face painting, bouncy castles, bubbles, photobooth and plenty of music from our DJs keeping the party going. There was something for everyone, and it was wonderful to see so many neighbours spending the day together!
A huge THANK YOU to the Calgary Kinsmen for grilling and handing out free hot dogs throughout the afternoon, and to Youth Central for all their help with the event, too! We truly couldn’t have put on this celebration without you!
As the afternoon turned into evening, the celebration continued with a big dinner buffet and live music from Triwood’s house band, Older Than Dirt. We hope everyone who joined us for the evening had a great dinner, enjoyed the music and settled in for the final surprise of the night.
And for those who stuck it out until the very end, we hope you looked up! At 8:30 p.m., fireworks lit up the sky near the Triwood baseball fields to cap off our 65th anniversary celebration.
