Get Involved, Stay Inspired: Volunteer at Triwood

Hello community champs!

Your time and energy are what make Triwood such a vibrant and welcoming place—and we can't thank you enough. In just the past few months, your efforts have:

✅ Led free social clubs like chess, military whist, Tai Chi, and writing groups

✅ Maintained (and recently packed up!) our outdoor rinks

✅ Hosted the free Parent & Tot playgroup

✅ Made Easter magic happen with a community-wide egg hunt

✅ Promoted and supported our recent Dinner Concert

Looking to dive deeper into the Triwood spirit? Scroll down for exciting summer volunteer opportunities!

Share your skills at the Triwood Block Party!

Do you have a hobby, passion, or talent you’d love to share—like painting, dancing, gardening tips, storytelling, or something totally unique? We’re looking for folks of all ages to do a quick demo or teach something fun (no experience needed, just enthusiasm!). It’s a great way to connect with neighbours and celebrate community.

Event Volunteers Needed – Summer is just around the corner!

We rely on amazing volunteers (like you!) to make our events happen. Whether you love organizing, setting up, running games, or just being part of the action, we’ve got a spot for you. Volunteers must be 12+ or join with an adult.

Have an idea for a club or project? Let’s make it happen. Want to start a language club, gardening group, or lead a craft afternoon? Reach out to us! We're here to support your ideas and help bring them to life.

Interested? Email Shivani at marketing@triwoodcommunity.com to sign up or learn more.

Thank you again for all that you do. Triwood wouldn’t be the same without your passion, creativity, and heart.

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. As residents of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, we seek to live, work and play in ways that honour and respect the spirit of the treaties and the lives of our Indigenous neighbours.
