KIDS WORKSHOPS
Get Your Garden Growing!
Join us on April 28th for a wonderful kids workshop where we we'll be guided by Calgary's Cottage Gardener, Janet Melrose, in planting a mini edible garden. We will explore the plant parts that we commonly eat from carrots that are roots to tomatoes that are really fruit. Then determine what the growing requirements are for plants to grow successfully. Finally we will plant up a container with what could become some favourite veggies to take home and care for, and harvest.
Hosted alongside our Spring Market, we invite you to register your little one for the hour while you peruse our selected of over 70+ market vendors.

The experience, repetition and variety of engaging and relevant subject matter brings them to increased levels of mastery in drawing - and in life.

LEARN TO SKATE
Triwood Community Association is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with Little Lemon Sports, a dynamic initiative that seamlessly blends learning and fun for young participants. Much like the refreshing combination of lemonade on a hot day, Little Lemon Sports crafts thoughtful programs tailored to the natural progression of children's learning on the ice. Divided into three key areas – balance, control, and agility – each program spans eight weeks, offering 30-minute lessons for ages 3-5 and 45-minute lessons for about 6-12!
Skating is a fantastic activity for children of all ages, imparting essential values such as patience, participation, and perseverance. With this collaboration, Triwood and Little Lemon Sports aim to create an enriching environment where young skaters not only develop fundamental skills but also cultivate a love for physical activity. As we embark on this partnership, we look forward to witnessing the growth, smiles, and memorable experiences that skating with Little Lemon Sports will bring to the Triwood community.
