Fall Market at Triwood!

1 min read

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Triwood Fall Market on Sunday, October 4!

We lucked out with another stunning autumn day, welcoming our community to shop local vendors, enjoy some seasonal activities, and spend a little time together at Triwood.

A big thank you to the talented students of the Schulich Soundstage Club at the University of Calgary for providing live music throughout the day, and to Zac Link for taking us through the afternoon with his music.

We’re also grateful to the local community supporters who helped make the day extra special: Holly from Bumblebee Photography for hosting pop-up mini photoshoots, the youth volunteers from Sir Winston Churchill High School for managing our pumpkin scavenger hunt and colouring station, and local artist Trina for leading community members through the watercolour pop-up workshop.

And, of course, thank you to all of the local vendors who joined us and to everyone who came out to shop, explore, listen to some music, and enjoy the day!!

We hope you had a great fall day with us, and we look forward to welcoming you back to Triwood soon!

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. As residents of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, we seek to live, work and play in ways that honour and respect the spirit of the treaties and the lives of our Indigenous neighbours.
