Summer Camp Week 5 Recap: Happy Merry Holiday!

This week at Triwood Summer Camp, we celebrated every holiday you can imagine — all rolled into one! From Halloween to Christmas, Easter to Earth Day, Eid to Diwali, campers dove into a whirlwind of festive fun during our Happy Merry Holiday theme week.

So… what is Happy Merry Holiday? It’s our way of bringing the magic, traditions, and excitement of different holidays together in one colorful, joy-filled week. Campers explored traditions from around the world through games, crafts, and themed activities designed to spark curiosity and creativity.

Highlights from the Week:

Our Tuesday workshops got campers crafting and creating Earth Day Seed Surprises

and Family Day Keychains

Festive Crafts Galore Snow globes were a huge hit, so were bunny ears — with campers adding their own creative spins. And of course, dressing up in holiday-inspired outfits made the week even brighter.

Splash Pad Fun On Thursday, we made sure to cool down and soak up some sun at the splash pad, giving everyone time to recharge before Friday’s big finale.

Friday Costume Party & Dance – August 1st The week ended with an unforgettable celebration. Campers arrived in everything from Santa hats to bunny ears, spooky costumes to unique mashups of their favorite holidays. A live DJ kept the energy high, and the costume contest brought out everyone’s most imaginative side. Prizes were handed out for the best costumes, but the real win was the joy and laughter that filled the room.

Thank you to all our campers for making Week 5 so memorable! We can’t wait to see what’s in store for the rest of summer.
