Ruben’s Veggies Has Officially Launched at Triwood!

We’re thrilled to share that Ruben’s Veggies is now officially open in the Triwood Community Association parking lot — and we kicked things off with a fantastic community launch event this past Thursday!

It was a great turnout, and we want to thank everyone who came by to celebrate with us. Special thanks to Chloe and Katrina from Ruben’s Veggies for joining us in person, and to the City of Calgary’s Farm Stand Program for their support in making this exciting addition possible.

Ruben’s Veggies offers fresh, local, seasonal produce daily — right in the heart of the neighbourhood. It’s convenient, self-serve, and open from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM every day. Stock rotates regularly based on what’s in season, so every visit brings something new.

We’re so happy to welcome this local farm stand to the Triwood community, and we hope you’ll stop by to support fresh food, local farmers, and accessible options for everyone.

📍 Find the stand at: 2244 Chicoutimi Drive NW (Triwood CA Parking Lot)

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. As residents of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, we seek to live, work and play in ways that honour and respect the spirit of the treaties and the lives of our Indigenous neighbours.
