Summer Camp 2026: Week 2, Creative Kids!

Week 2 at Triwood Summer Camp was all about getting creative! Our campers had a busy week filled with science, theatre, art, movement, and plenty of fun.

On Tuesday, Minds in Motion from the University of Calgary joined us for hands-on science workshops. Younger campers explored sun safety by making DIY sunscreen and creating sun-powered art, while our older campers investigated heat and density by making their own lava lamps!

We also had lots of opportunities for campers to flex their artistic muscles throughout the week — building kites, dancing, stretching, and even writing and performing their own plays.

The campers enjoyed an interactive Triple Fun theatre show on Wednesday, where they helped choose what happened next, sang, danced, acted, and even joined the performers on stage!

Thursday was the hottest day of the week, making it the perfect day for a trip to the Splash Park. We wrapped up the week with plenty of bubbles on Friday!

What a creative, colourful, and action-packed week!
