Triwood Christmas market wrap up

Updated: Dec 3, 2024

A Huge Thank You for Making the Triwood Community Association Christmas Market a Success!

What an incredible weekend it was at the Triwood Community Association’s Annual Christmas Market! We are filled with gratitude as we reflect on the event, which saw over 1,600 of you brave the snow and -20 temperatures to join us in the holiday spirit. Your warmth and enthusiasm made this year’s market truly special, and we couldn’t be more thankful for your support.

There were so many highlights throughout the weekend that made it unforgettable:

  • Sleigh Rides: The free sleigh rides on Friday night were a big hit, giving everyone a magical start to the weekend.

  • Santa Visits: Santa was in town on Saturday, spreading joy and hearing the wishes of the children—what a delight!

  • Holiday Doodles: The kids loved creating holiday-themed doodles, adding their own unique touch to the festivities.

  • Letters to Santa: We received an overwhelming amount of letters to Santa, and we’re certain the Triwood elves will be busy ensuring he responds to each and every one.

  • Festive Food & Drinks: From delicious treats to warming drinks, our food vendors kept everyone fueled up and in the holiday mood.

  • Local Artisans: It was wonderful to see local artisans showcasing their talents and running the businesses of their dreams. We hope you found the perfect gifts for the festive season!

We would also like to extend a huge thank you to the many people who made this event possible:

  • Community Volunteers: A special thanks to our volunteers, particularly those managing the by-donation gift-wrapping station we tried for the first time this year. Your hard work and dedication were invaluable!

  • Youth Volunteers: Our youth volunteers from Youth Central did an amazing job with setup and clean-up. Your enthusiasm and energy were truly appreciated.

  • Event organizers, vendors, performers & staff: Thank you to all who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran smoothly and the event was magical for everyone.

We are so grateful to everyone who joined us this year. Your support makes the Triwood Christmas Market a cherished tradition, and we look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Wishing you all the best this holiday season, from everyone here at Triwood! 🎄
