What a Stampede Breakfast for the Books!!

Triwood, you showed up in true Stampede spirit!

Thank you for making our annual Stampede Breakfast such an incredible success — we couldn’t have done it without you.

From a heartwarming Citizenship Ceremony welcoming 47 new Canadians (complete with surprise visits from Stampede Princess Breanna and First Nations Princess Pacey!), to the joy of horse-drawn wagon rides, bounce castles, line dancing, and live country tunes from Crystal McGrath, the morning was packed with fun for all ages.

Families explored the mobile adventure park, kids tested their aim at line shooting, and vintage car lovers admired a field of gleaming classics at the Show’n’Shine. Best of all? Seeing our neighbours come together — sharing laughs, pancakes, and good old-fashioned community connection.

🌟 A huge thank you to our volunteers who helped bring this event to life:

We acknowledge that Triwood Community Association and surrounding communities are located on the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy (comprising the Siksika, Piikani and Kainai First Nations), the Tsuut’ina First Nation and the Stoney-Nakoda peoples (including the Chiniki, Bearspaw and Goodstoney First Nations). This is also home of the Otipemisiwak Métis Government, Districts 5 and 6. As residents of the Treaty 7 region in Southern Alberta, we seek to live, work and play in ways that honour and respect the spirit of the treaties and the lives of our Indigenous neighbours.
